need some business research advice?
looking at starting my own business in baby wear and accessories but to approach a bank i need a good business plan, part of this is research into what people want, what questions could i put on a questionaire.

also need to know what people need from this type of store
look at samples of other questionnaires of other similar businesses who have been there before you. you can learn a lot.

well, bit hard work , dig deep down to do some research, like mothercare, mama and papas, ext… but be careful
take only the style and model and tailor your questionnaire according to your area where you live taking into consideration the followings factors:
Income
culture
background
birth rate
ethnicity
population/density
competition
My favourite questions would be:
1-if you have a baby what would be the first thing to buy for him/her?
2- if you were to buy a gift for a new born baby, what would you prefer.
endless question like that but with relation to the above factor.

I’m going out on my own and starting my own business. Now is a good time since I no longer have any clients (since ihave a 6 week old) so it won’t be a conflict of intrest to leave and start my own business. Anyway . . .
I plan to offer many services for new and expecting mothers.
From childbirth education to post-pardum care, newborn care, lactation consultant, baby-wearing, a whole range of things. Any hopefully I can find another mom or two to help teach the things I’m not familiar with (such as cloth diapering, and raising a healthy vegan, ect)
