Baby Talk Knows
Baby talk amongst adults?
My mother in law finds it necessary to speak to her husband (my father in law), my wife, my 3 year old daughter, her son, and me (sometimes) in baby talk. I know she knows she’s doing it because she will differenciate voices in mid conversation depending on who she’s talking to. Hearing it makes me want to eat a bullet. My wife is afraid to tell her because she thinks she will hurt her feelings and insists that she doesn’t know she’s doing it. I never want to do anything with the in laws and am afraid that I am starting to try to steer my child into disliking her grandma because I dislike her. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions?
Start talking to her in baby talk and see how she likes it.
Baby Talk Knows

Did you see that Oprah show, about baby talk? How to you interpret baby crys?
I know EHHHHH EHHH EH they need to be burped
and ahhhh ahhhhhhhhh hungry? I think?????????
HELP!!!!!!!!
You need to find someone who has the current edition of “BabyTalk” magazine. There’s an article about it in there. That said here are the “words”:
Neh=”I’m hungry”
Owh=”I’m sleepy”
Heh=”I’m experiencing discomfort” (diaper change)
Eair=”I have lower gas”
Eh=”I need to burp”
*Remember these are only for until they reach the age of about 3 months, at that time the language spoken around them starts to influence their “speech.”
*Addition*: The woman who wrote about the hair is absolutely right. You need to check fingers, toes, and penis frequently for stray hairs. My youngest daughter was really good at getting them wrapped around her ginger and toes. One time I ended up taking her to the ER because one had gotten wrapped around her toe so tightly no one at home could get it off (It had gotten to the “weeping” point where the toe was leaking clear fluid, it took 2 doctors and 2 nurses to get the thing off, talk abou scary!)
