How do I stop my leather flip flops from squeaking when I walk?
I have new leather flip flops that make a noise when my foot slips in them while walking. I’ve tried the traditional lotion trick, and no luck. Can’t really use baby powder in them since they are flip flops. They are a rather heavy shoe (Reef Sandy). I think it’s too late to return them, so any suggestions? Thanks!
I bought some Rainbows about a month ago and they used to have that problem. I just kept walking and walking in them and put up with the noise, and it has slowly gone away.
I know that really doesn’t help, but it’s worth trying. It could be that there is a tiny bit of air in them somewhere that needs to be slowly squeezed out. Just walk in them and it might go away. Good luck.

How do I stop my shoes from squeaking?
Jordans, squeak wherever I go, people seem to think I’m a special needs kid. I have tried the following things that haven’t worked: water on the soles, baby powder on the soles, baby powder under the insoles. Anything else I can do?
take them off, and take them back. That’s a valid reason.
