How many gifts should a 2 yr old get for Christmas?
Ok, so this year we were a little tight on cash and we are also expecting another baby soon. I am due on the 31st of this month. Christmas is now in 2 days and I was just wondering if the gifts we got our 2 yr old son is enough. I mean I know he will be happy with anything but I just wonder if other people that come to visit will think that we are bad parents because we couldn’t get him more. We got him one big gift-toy, 2 smaller toys, a Cars light up robe and a new pair of Jordans-shoes. Last year when he was a little over 1 yr old we got him a whole bunch of gifts (like 20) and we spent about $500 and I know he doesn’t even remember it. This year with the 5 gifts we got him we spent about $150. Does anyone think we should get him a couple more things? Just wondering. He’s also getting gifts from grandmas and grandpa and my sister. Please let me know. Thanks!
It is plenty. Remember that whatever you buy you then have to pick up off the floor when they leave it out. I have 3 children, and they get 4 presents each, two from Santa, two from us. Our guideline is something to eat, something to play with, something to wear, and one thing that they really want.

what are somethings that I should take to the hospital when giving birth other then the following?
house shoes
warm socks
a robe
a head band
change of clothes for the baby and I. (including a onesie, a small hat, mittens, socks, and of course a warm outfit for the ride home.)
A pacifier
Car seat
Our hospital provides toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo ect.
Am I forgetting something or something that you suggest that I should bring along with us? Maybe something that you realized that you needed when you arrived at the hospital that you thought that you might have needed?

Makeup if you want it (you probably won’t be looking the most amazing)
Lotion
Something to stare at during labor (a focal point, maybe a picture that would help you or something of memory/value that is around that size)
Cell phone for calls to announce
I heard it’s really nice to have candy, like jolly ranchers or other hard candy to suck on and bite on.
You may want an extra blanket because the hospitals can be thin, but that is up to you.
Nursing bra if you plan on breastfeeding
