Has anyone ever heard of this old wives tale about the baby’s gender?
Ok, my grandmother and mom have a load of myths and tales about determining the gender of a baby right?
Here’s one i heard that has me so obsessed with trying to figure out what gender the baby is.
–” If you are carrying a girl, other girls, ( Such as toddlers and infants) wont like you or will stay away” ( Girls dont like girls )
– ” If you are carrying a boy, other girls ( Such as toddlers and infants) will love to to be around you and would be attached to you” ( Girls like boys)
What other crazy myths have you heard, that ended up being accurate.
Also, i heard another one saying you shouldnt be expose yourself to a full moon without wearing a safety pin? Or else ur child will come out with cleft lip?

haha I’ve never heard that!
One I heard, was if you tie a string around a nut (like a metal bolt like thing) and hold it over your belly, if it swings side to side it means you’re having a boy. In a circle means it’s a girl.
Another crazy one was if you pour dish soap in the toilet and pee, if it turns blue it’s a boy, if it turns pink it’s a girl. But that’s ridiculous, how could that ever happen because of urine?

anyone know any baby shower favor ideas?
i dont want to make a diaper cake. i know about the baby bottle with candy. i’ve been searching every possible site already and i’m not too satisfied. i remember going to a baby shower with my mom as a little girl and i remember that they had pins for all the guests. anyone know about this? i remember mini baby bottles and a big safety pin… probably hot glue? i also remeber a mini baby diaper on the pins too.

what about some baby shower games?
My baby shower was awesome, we had great games, one of them was, we had 10 diapers, each diaper had some kind of dressing in it (they made it look like doo doo) so we had to smell it and guess what is was, whoever got the most right ones won a prize. Then they sent me to the bathroom and they asked the girls things about me like, which clothes i had arrived to the party on? how many rings I had in my hand? how was my hair fixed? anyway several questions about my appereance, then they called me to come to the livingroom and they answered the questions and it was fun to see what they had answered nd compare to how i was again whoever got the most right answers won a prize. then they asked the girls to guess how many toilet paper squares they thought my belly was, whoever guessed it right won a prize it was 13! lol!
My cake was a baby stroller and they decorated everything with mini baby bottles.
