Heart or head?
My baby guinea pig Rodney got terrbly bitten today by one of my pregant rats. I ahve ten rats, one of which has just had babies and one of which heavilly pregant. I know I have too many, and they are very hard to get rid of.However I have a far stronger bond with my six guinea pigs. I am told if I get rid of all the rats , I can have two more guinea pigs. It is a hard descion please help. They have chewed up clothes of mine and have bitten one of my other guinea pigs before.

My guinea pigs have their own cages, so do all my aniamals. But my rat escaped, through the bars.
I think you should do what you know is best for you and your animals. Having that many rats may be stressing your rats out and you out as well. I know how much you love animals and that is why I think you are such an amazing person but I think you would feel much better if you gave them to homes that you know for a fact will take good care of them. I mean I know it is a hard decision and maybe what you could actually do is put them in different rooms. Like have you rats in one room and your guinea pigs in a another, that is what I do. I also think that you should keep the female and male separate so they dont get each other pregnant because they repopulate so fast. I know how much of a hard worker you are and I am so proud that you are able to take care of so many animals. I have a bigger heart so there is no way that I would be able to give any of my pets away, they are my family. So I think you should try some things out like putting the females and males in different cages and putting the rats and guinea pigs in separate rooms for their safety. Good luck my friend.
Baby Clothes Pigs
Using baby wipes (or any sanitary wipes) as a quick way to get clean?
So I’m gonna be starting up school again pretty soon, and I’m looking for different ways to stay “fresh and clean” after gym class.
We don’t have enough time to take showers after class, and since I sweat very easily no matter what the temperature, its difficult for me to smell good and not look like a sweating pig.
What I’d like to try is using some moist sanitary wipes (similar to baby wipes) and maybe wipe myself before putting my clothes on. I thought this might keep me clean enough between classes, for a little while (at least until I can shower).
Does this sound like a good idea? Or has anyone else found easier ways (or better ones)?
That does help, but also make sure you use a strong deodorant. A little power such as baby powered would help as well. Do you have a good trusted Friend who would be honest with you? Ask her towards the end of the day how you smell. If she says you pass the sniff test then you are fine. But sometimes by the time we smell ourselves its way to late.
