Baby Clothes Charity
does anyone know any charities that could use knitted baby clothes.?
i love knitting baby clothes and would like to donate them to charity. i would prefer that they go direct to families though rather than to a charity shop.
Do you know of any charities who send clothes direct to families. i am willing to pay the postage etc.
Guideposts magazines has had a “knit for kids” project going for several years. They need baby and kid sweaters. Go to their website ad do a search for that project. It’ll give you links and everything.

Do you give away your used baby clothes or…?
… do you save them if you are planning on having more children?
I hang on to them for a while so I can give them to relatives or friends if they can use them, if not, after some time I give them to a charity.
Also-
I have kept all their “going home” outfits and a couple of other odds and ends so I can give them to them when they have children of their own.
Do you do the same?
That sounds about as it is with me.
I plan to use of a couple of my favorite outfits and make them into a small quilt (whether I actually ever get around to doing this is a completely different story, lol!).
