Is the cat acting out due to my baby??
I just had a baby boy 2 months ago, and my 5 year-old kitty is now acting up. He meows all the time (often waking up a napping baby) and I just discovered that he has been peeing in my dirty clothes basket (gross!!!). Help! I don’t have a lot of extra time to give him right now, so how do I make him stop? Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Hey don’t worry too much. You need to understand that your pet is hungry for attention. If you spend at least 10 minutes regularly with him the problem will go away I promise.
- You have to create an experience for your cat. What you have to do is get your baby boy and cat in one room.
- Bring some food for the pet and toys.
- Give the toy to the cat, and when he’s playing give him a treat.
- While playing if the cat meows, stop playing.
- Re-start playing, and when the cat is playing quietly, give him treat again.
Basically he will learn that, playing quietly gives him food. Since, it is a nice experience he will try to repeat it.

Can i use this basket for a baby shower gift basket?
I am making a baby shower gift basket and I was wondering if that basket would be okay or if I need the wooden/easter type of basket. I plan on putting a bunch of little stuff in the basket….like soaps, brush, nail clippers, wash clothes, burp rags and so on. I already have a basket and its pretty much the same as this one. Only mine does not have the two handles….so would mine be okay…honest answers please cuz i dont wanna go there looking sleezy

I think it is fine….little baskets are always nice with a new baby. I had one in each room with my newborns to catch all the clutter that seems to accumulate all over the house with a newborn (pacifiers, rattles, caps, gloves, etc.)
If you are worried about the overall effect….just line it with a nice blanket and it will be very nice. You may even want to wrap the whole thing up in Cellophane to make it appear very BOUTIQUE-ISH.
