I have 18 years but I am 13, what do I do to look older?
Ok, so I have 18 years and I am the last year of High School. Every time I tell people of my age and grade, drop their jaws as if they just saw a foreigner. I have been told to look 13 … others say 15 and 14 .. Nobody thinks 'm 18. I hate it! My mother still treats me like a child and a pinch some of my friends my cheek and say "how cute!" I need my respect as adult !!… My eyes are big and round like a baby, I'm very fair skinned, I am thin and I have very tight curls falling on my face … HELP! Im going to college and I want make new friends. I have tried to make up and expensive clothes, but it seems that as they dug in the game my mother costume closet. What do I look older?
I feel your pain. I have 25 years on the job every day I say I look 17. People drop their jaw when I say that I'm married and I have a stepdaughter. In fact, use to bother me when I was your age, but now I am getting older I appreciate it because I know I'll keep looking young and my friends start to look old. I know you will hear this a million times, you will appreciate looking young in the future. "But I honestly feel that is true. I cut my hair differently and began to straighten, I saw my aunt and she thought I was 10, I said well that's not what I was going to but I can not let it bother me and niether can. My wife's cousins said he thought I looked very young until they started talking and then she knew she was talking to a professional adult and not a boy. I know its hard on all go to college. But you could also try to get a makeover a room for a different haircut and another way to put makeup on. Sincerely, would say that you can make yourself seem more rather than the way people see, but the way of carrying himself, confident but not arrogant. You should also know people can realize they are older than you as soon as he opens his mouth to speak with them. I would suggest make a lasting impression on people to speak like adults and have confidence in yourself, which will take you a long way in life no matter how you look. Hang in there, it gets better I promise.
