moms of babies who are newly walking…shoes?
what kind of shoes do your babies wear? we have a pair of robeez that my daughter wears around the house to keep her feet warm and give her a little grip on our hardwood floors, but spring is coming soon (hopefully) and i’m not sure what she should wear on her feet. i am considering robeez tredz or pedipeds. thoughts?
i should add that my daughters feet are tiny. she’s 10.5 months but still wears a 2.
Pedipeds!! I love those shoes!! I was so happy when the came out with pediped flex so my 2 year old can still wear them!!
Especially for spring, pedipeds will be better…they are less *bootie* like, and the ones with the cutouts, etc. are good even when barefoot.
ETA: See Kai Run also has great shoes!! In my experience though, then run wide.

Chubby baby feet: How do you find shoes that fit?!?
My daughter is almost 11 months old and I am really finding it difficult to buy her a pair of shoes. I don’t think her feet are big but they are very chubby. I have tried size 3 and 4 and they don’t even go in although the length seems fine when I put the shoe up to her foot. Robeez aren’t good either since they are pretty tight on her ankles.
Any recommedations for a pair or shoes for her chubby feet?
I went to stride right yesterday- my sons feet really are huge. He is 11 months and a size 6 wide!
The lady at the store suggested that I wait to buy shoes until he walks very well on his feet and to buy a boot type shoe with arch support. She told me a story about a lady who refused to buy boots for her son and bought him cute sandals instead. The poor baby ended up with a broken ankle after he tripped with his shoes on.
Buy soft shoes or boot type shoes. It is best at this age if they don’t wear shoes at all to walk in.
